Well things have been a little slow this year while the webmaster studies for a commercial pilots licence, so it hasn't been the KTMs that have been flying for a change! Anyway, here's a classic from Paul in California; his 78 400 MC5.
Paul provided the following background on his 400...
"I've owned it since 1980. Bought it from original owner (who was a good friend) I rode it when it was brand new.
It sat in my garage for 12-15 years before I got the bug to get into riding condition. It is only on its third rear tire. Everything is original its not a restoration. Thanks to Al Beuner and the Penton users group. I was able to get all the little rubber parts I needed, fork seals etc.. Needed some carb parts and got them right from Bing. The shocks are new Works Performance.
This bike has only been ridden in the desert. People are always amazed at how this bike performs. It still kicks ass."
Great bike Paul, thanks for sharing it with us. |

Thanks to all the KTM fans out there for helping to bring up the 100,000 visitor number! Who'd have thought there'd be so many other people with the same "illness"
Thanks again to Reese for sending in another trip down KTM memory lane, this time celebrating Kees Van Der Ven's 1982 win at the 250cc USGP.
