This 1973 KTM 175 arrived home in Feb 2004 after 25 years living in a shed. Images on this page can be clicked on to view at larger size.
The engine was basically complete with no corrosion inside. The rebuild included new rod, piston and rebore, as well as the usual gaskets, seals etc.
By July 2004 the frame, engine and forks were ready to go.
With the engine installed. Later model 35mm forks were fitted instead of the stock 32mm.
By August 2005 things are beginning to look closer to completion.
The complete restored KTM is rolled out in Sept 2005.
